Full-Time Sr. Customer Service Associate

In this position, you will provide comprehensive service for our global customers, operational support for our sales team, & order fulfillment services.  Your attention to detail, ability to orchestrate all day-to-day service activities for your accounts, & your commitment to a professional team environment are keys to your success as a Sr. Customer Service Associate.

Principal Duties:

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • Process customer sales orders & interact with Purchasing, Scheduling, Logistics, Quality Assurance, Finance, & Sales Managers to perform all order-related follow up work
  • Research & respond to requests from Buyers, Food Scientists, Material Managers, QA, etc.
  • Perform all tasks related to Accounts Receivable including contacting customers regarding past due invoices
  • Prepare & submit credit applications for review & approval to establish financing for customers
  • Utilize CRM to manage & maintain all aspects of customer relationships (ie: customer-specific requirements, documentation, communication tracking, etc.) for your assigned accounts
  • Process annual customer contracts & provide on-going reporting & contract performance updates
  • Assist with business reporting & presentations
  • Participate in customer visits & business presentations

Requirements:

  • Proven record of productive & efficient administrative support experience in a professional office environment (3+ years)
  • Proven record of sales order processing (preferably within the food industry)
  • Solid written & verbal communication skills (ie: clear, concise, accurate & professional)
  • Proven competency using the Microsoft Office suite, web-based applications & other computer programs
  • Performance that has produced quantifiable results
  • Knowledge of the Sales, Customer Service, & Marketing environment
  • Proven record of multi-tasking, staying composed under pressure, & meeting deadlines
  • Proven record of flexibility, adaptability & willingness to be cross-trained
  • Proven record of building strong working relationships & working as a team player/contributor
  • Attendance record proving dependability & punctuality (work hours are Mon.-Fri., 8am-5pm)
  • Experience working with confidential information
  • Solid references and ability to pass a background check and drug screening

Education and Qualifications:

  • High school or GED (minimum requirement)
